Velika Britanija je oduzela primat Norveškoj, koja je do sada držala neprikosnoveno mesto kao broj jedan kada je prodaja Tesli u pitanju.
U prvih šest meseci ove godine u Norveškoj je prodato 1.248 primeraka Modela S, a u Velikoj Britaniji petnaest komada više, odnosno njih 1.263.
Zanimljiv je i trend. Naime, u Norveškoj je prodaja pala za 50% u odnosu na isti period prošle godine, kada je prodato 2.674 primerka, dok je u Velikoj Britaniji prodaja porasla za 250%.

More than 535,000 plug-in electric passenger cars have been registered in Europe up until July 2016, representing about a third of global sales, and making the continent the world's largest light-duty plug-in regional market.
As of July 2016, sales in the European plug-in electric segment, which includes utility vans, are led by Norway with over 112,700 units registered, followed by the Netherlands with over 95,500 units, and France with over 94,500 units.
