Žiri izbora za Svetski automobil godine 2022 (World Car of the Year 2022) je objavio skraćenu listu kandidata koji učestvuju u ovom izboru.

Isti međunarodni žiri (102 člana iz 33 zemlje) koji će izabrati Svetski automobil godine 2022 dodeliće i nagrade u još nekoliko kategorija: World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Urban Car, World Car Design of the Year i novoj kategoriji World Electric Vehicle of the Year.

Finalisti (po tri kanditata iz svake kategorije) biće saopšteni 15. marta, a pobednici u svim kategorijama će biti proglašeni 13. aprila u Njujorku.
